• 4 lbs Fresh Mussels, cleaned
• 2Tbs. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• 2Tbs. Chopped Garlic
• 2Tbs. Minced Onions
• 2Tbs Fresh Basil or Parsley - roughly chopped
• Juice of 1 Lemon
• 1 cup White Wine
• 1 cup All Purpose Flour  


1. Soak Mussels then scrub if necessary and rinse

2. Heat Oil in deep roasting pan or pot, add Onions and sauté until slightly carmelized, and add Garlic.

3. Add Flour and whisk over heat to cook. Add Parsley or Basil

4. Add Mussels and pour Wine over them. 

5. Add pinch of Saffron

6.Cover and steam for about 2 minutes or until shells open. 

7. Serve Mussels in a deep bowl with Sauce and Lemon Juice drizzled over them. 

8. Served and Enjoy!
